Sinkronisasi Twitter ke Facebook

Sekarang tiba saatnya saya menjelaskan bagaimana kita bisa melakukan sinkronisasi status dari Twitter ke Facebook. Dengan kata lain bagaimana kita bisa menjadikan tweet kita sebagai status update dalam Facebook.

Sebelum sampai ke sana kita perlu mempertimbangkan beberapa hal. Pertimbangan utama, tidak semua tweet mesti kita masukkan ke Facebook. Misalnya tweet reply dan reply-all adalah kandidat terbaik sebagai tweet yang tidak ingin kita sinkronkan ke Facebook. Retweet juga bisa masuk kandidat berikutnya yang tidak ingin kita sinkronkan ke Facebook. Lebih baik lagi jika kita bisa mengontrol tweet mana yang akan kita sinkronkan ke Facebook.

Mekanisme sinkronisasi antara Twitter ke Facebook bisa dilakukan menggunakan aplikasi yang terdapat dalam Twitter maupun aplikasi yang terdapat dalam Facebook. Dalam posting ini saya akan mendemokan salah satu aplikasi yang terdapat dalam Facebook yaitu Selective Tweets yang bisa kita pakai untuk sinkronisasi tweet ke Facebook. Dengan aplikasi ini, kita bisa mengontrol tweet mana yang akan kita sinkronkan ke Facebook dengan menambahkan keyword tertentu ke dalam tweet. Keyword tersebut adalah #fb.

Ikuti langkah-langkah berikut ini untuk meng-instal aplikasi Selective Tweets ke Facebook.

Login ke Facebook, lalu ketikkan http://apps.facebook.com/selectivetwitter/ dalam address bar browser. Gambar berikut ini menunjukkan tampilan dari aplikasi Facebook Selective Tweet.

Ketikkan username Twitter kita dalam kotak yang telah disediakan, lalu klik tombol Save.

Selanjutnya akan muncul kotak dialog Allow Access. Klik tombol Allow dalam kotak dialog tersebut.

Selanjutnya muncul kotak dialog yang akan meminta Special Permissions: Allow Publishing. Klik tombol Allow Publishing pada kotak dialog tersebut untuk memberikan akses update status kepada aplikasi Selective Tweet.

Setelah aplikasi Selective Tweet ter-instal, kita bisa mencobanya dengan cara membuat tweet di Twitter. Login ke Twitter, buat tweet yang di akhiri dengan keyword #fb. Gambar berikut ini adalah contoh tweet yang diakhiri dengan keyword #fb, dan akan secara otomatis disinkronisasikan ke Facebook

Tunggu selama kira-kira lima menit sebelum tweet tersebut muncul dalam Facebook sebagai update status. Gambar berikut ini menunjukkan status Facebook yang telah ter-update secara otomatis dari Twitter.

Kesimpulan

Dari uraian di atas, sinkronisasi tweet ke Facebook sebagai update status sangat mudah dan bisa dilakukan dalam beberapa langkah sederhana. Dengan sinkronisasi otomatis antara Twitter dan Facebook kita hanya punya satu pintu untuk update status yang akan muncul dalam Twitter maupun Facebook
